Oil Corporations may increase their profits from the control and use of oil resulting in environmental destruction, deteriorating general population health, and even endangering the human species.

It is the business they are in, linked to profit incentives, striving for more profit, continued use, and existence.

- Bank CEOs receiving record bonuses during the economic collapse and Wall Street having record profits during its recovery.
